Wallpaper number 1 takes us to Germany. Heidelberg’s romantic ruins tower above the Neckar River, offering visitors a glimpse into Renaissance architecture and Germany’s intellectual legacy. Once the seat of the Palatinate electors, the castle played a key role in the region’s political history.

Wallpaper number 2 moves us to Spain. Once the country’s capital, Toledo sits majestically above the Tagus River. This city’s layered history includes Roman, Visigothic, Islamic, Jewish and Christian influences, all visible in its architecture and layout.

Wallpaper number 3 - Assisi rises gracefully from the Italian Umbrian hills, its pink-hued stone buildings reflecting the peaceful spirit of its most famous son, St. Francis. It’s a place of pilgrimage and peace, offering visitors the chance to explore themes of faith, monastic life and the intersection of religion and art through its stunning basilicas and frescoes.

And, in this month’s bonus wallpaper, we travel east to Czechia. Nestled in a bend of the Vltava River yet crowned by a vast Renaissance castle, Český Krumlov offers fairy-tale charm and historical depth. Its hilltop vantage point once protected the powerful Rosenberg family, and today the preserved old town is a case study in Central European heritage, town planning and conservation.
