We’re already halfway through 2025, believe it or not, and the summer in Europe is nearly upon us. We hope you have had a good spring season – do let us know how you are doing.

This month, we're celebrating the charm and biodiversity of Europe. From mountain ranges to coastal cliffs, Europe's landscapes are home to some incredibly endearing creatures which, whilst looking undoubtedly cute, also play essential roles in their local ecosystems. In fact, they are perfect for inspiring a love of nature and encouraging awareness of wildlife conservation in your group tours.

Wallpaper number 1 - with its russet fur and tufted ears, the red squirrel is a beloved native of Britain’s woodlands, particularly in the Highlands of Scotland. Often spotted darting through pine forests, this charming little mammal is a symbol of conservation efforts across the UK, where it is protected due to its declining numbers.

Wallpaper number 2 - a favourite among hikers, the burrow-dwelling Alpine marmot is a social and playful creature that embodies the spirit of mountain life and makes any trek through the Alps more memorable.

Wallpaper number 3 - with their brightly coloured beaks and comical waddle, puffins are arguably one of Europe’s most photogenic birds. Colonies nest along the dramatic cliffs of Iceland’s Westfjords each summer, offering a magical sight for nature lovers and budding wildlife photographers alike.

And, in this month’s bonus wallpaper, we travel to Andalusia, Spain. Once on the brink of extinction, the Iberian lynx has made a remarkable comeback thanks to dedicated conservation efforts. Found in the scrublands of southern Spain, this elusive feline is not only striking with its tufted ears and spotted coat but also a symbol of hope for endangered species across Europe.
