Wallpapers - March 2026
Welcome to March 2026!
If you're new here, welcome to our monthly wallpapers!
We don’t know about you, but winter has felt loooonnng for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere this year! And, as I write, winter isn’t quite done with us all yet. White snow, grey rain, dark skies – I think we’ve had it all.
So, as an antidote, we are looking ahead to lighter days and more GREEN as we enter March. We can’t wait for our parks to awaken, gardens to begin to flourish, and Europe’s historic streets to feel lighter under brighter skies.
This month, our wallpapers celebrate the return of colour to our cities, and the particular beauty of green.
We hope you enjoy this month's wallpapers. Right click on the images below and select "save as..." to download your choice - all with the handy monthly calendar!
Wallpaper number 1 takes us first to Florence in Italy. With softer light and Tuscan hills turning green once more, the city’s historic gardens offer peaceful vantage points over one of Europe’s great cultural treasures. It is a destination where art, architecture and landscape come together.
Wallpaper number 2 features Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. Officially a green city in many ways, Ljubljana offers a delightful sense of serenity, particularly as spring takes hold along its leafy riverbanks. The pedestrian-friendly old town and castle framed by green hills is a lesser-known gem of Central Europe.
Wallpaper number 3 - Barcelona offers a slightly warmer spring atmosphere, with palm tree-lined avenues, hillside parks and coastal brightness. The combination of architecture, creative design and outdoor spaces makes it dynamic yet accessible, and early spring avoids peak heat while still showing off the city’s colour and energy.
And, in this month’s bonus wallpaper, we travel to Dublin. 17th March is St Patrick’s Day, and the whole city turns green! The festivities add energy to the streets, and entice revellers back outside, no matter the weather. Enjoy our picture here of a lucky shamrock and leprechaun - sláinte!
