The autumn for us here in the Northern Hemisphere brings warm, joyful colours and fun events. With Halloween being an obvious one to many, one of the things we love about October is the seasonal colours. This month, we hope you enjoy these warm, inviting, colourful images and that they bring you joy, comfort and peace; just like a huge warm hug really!

Wallpaper number 1 takes us on a relaxing walk through the forest in Luxembourg. The autumnal colours create a magical scene and this image makes us smile. Perhaps there’s a hot chocolate and a lovely slice of pie or cake waiting for us on our return!

Wallpaper number 2 finds us in the stunning countryside of Überlingen near Lake Constance, Germany. Near the border with Switzerland, the area is known for its beautiful gardens thanks to its Mediterranean-type climate as it sits between the lake and the snow-capped Alps.

Wallpaper number 3 is of the autumn colours of the Lake Vyrnwy reservoir in Wales. The tower, known as the “Straining Tower” is where the water leaves the lake to join the aqueduct and pipeline towards Liverpool, England. Vyrnwy is also the largest nature reserve in Wales, and the area is popular with cyclists and fishing enthusiasts.

And, for your bonus wallpaper, we are in Basel, Switzerland alongside the River Rhine. The city is known as a cultural capital and for the Basel Autumn Fair, the country’s biggest and oldest fun fair. The fair is held over two weeks every October and began in 1471!
