Wallpaper number 1 is from Strasbourg in north-eastern France, close to the border with Germany. Home to the Council of Europe and a number of other European Union institutions, the city has a varied mix of Gothic and medieval architecture with canals, coloured houses and pedestrian city-centre streets.

Wallpaper number 2 takes us to the Spanish city of Segovia. Visit the Alcazar fortress, perched high above the city where Queen Isabel promised Columbus the financial backing he needed to sail to America. The famous 1st century Roman Aqueduct situated in the centre of the city is the monument which has given it the most fame, and has more than 160 arches.
Wallpaper number 3 is of central Siena, in Tuscany, Italy. The city is distinguished by its medieval brick buildings. The fan-shaped central square, Piazza del Campo, is the site of the Palazzo Pubblico, the Gothic town hall, and Torre del Mangia, a slender 14th-century tower with sweeping views from its distinctive white crown.

And, for your bonus wallpaper, we simply had to share this image of Roker Pier and Lighthouse in Sunderland, UK at sunrise. Located on the north-eastern coast of England, the city was once home to the largest ship-building industry in the world for almost six centuries.
