NTA International Member Meet-up - June 2026

Jane recently participated in NTA’s International Member Meet-up, where travel professionals from around the world shared insights on current market conditions.

Several of the themes discussed closely reflect what we are seeing in our own business. Across many markets, enquiry levels remain healthy, but clients are taking a little longer to make decisions. 

Economic uncertainty, higher airfares, geopolitical tensions, and ongoing disruption to flight routes were widely cited as factors influencing client decision-making. These challenges are particularly relevant to international markets, where air travel forms a significant part of the overall trip cost.

There was also, however, positive discussion around growing demand for experiential and performance-based travel, which aligns well with our specialist expertise. Encouragingly, destinations such as Ireland, Scotland and Scandinavia continue to perform strongly.

The consensus from participants was that maintaining strong supplier relationships, demonstrating flexibility, and continuing to focus on value for money will be critical in navigating the current market - an approach that is already central to how we work with our clients and partners.
