Yesterday, ETOA hosted its quarterly Advisory Council meeting, followed by the 2026 General Assembly and Members’ Meeting in Berlin. As ETOA President, I was delighted to chair the meeting and present at the assembly, as well as to have time with members to discuss many matters important to them. 

Although travellers to the UK have needed to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for some months now, there has been a grace period as the new system has come into force.
